    Background: Hepatitis E Virus (HEV) infection is a newly recognized serious threat to global public health and Africa is suspected to be among the most severely affected regions in the world. Objective: This study aimed to detect the frequency of anti-hepatitis E IgM, among elevated liver enzyme patients.
