    Diuretic agents already prove its clinical affectivity against various disease conditions like hypertension, renal failure, nephritic syndrome etc. In this case, various in vitro and in vivo screening models express their clinical importance. The present review emphasis about rational purpose of experimental techniques and evaluation parameters of various screening models of diuretic activity.
