    Potential Treatments for Allergies and Anaphylaxis

    Allergy is the overreactions of the immune system to normally harmless substances. Globally, the percentage of people with allergies has shown an increasing trend, as well as the incidence of death caused by allergies, a symptom known as anaphylaxis. People with allergies have a harder life experience than normal people. However, unlike some common diseases that could be cured by medicines and human immune systems, allergy is incurable and can last for a lifelong time. With rising technologies and deeper understanding of the immune system and mechanisms of cells’ functions, many new types of medicines and therapies are being invented and improved in recent years.
